Love this conversation – 20 minutes in & stoked, comments on art spaces/bars was HILARIOUS and spot on. Gotta say tho, soul nights are very prominent in the midwest (Detroit/Chicago esp) and more strictly soul/r&b driven than the bay’s across-the-board “oldies” vibe..
